The TERM-Y is a Y-splice termination assembly that converts one SCIL8M (8-pin male in-line) connector into a MCIL3F (3-pin female) and an RMG-3-FS (3-pin female socket) output. Used in commercial diving spreads to distribute a single umbilical signal circuit to two downstream devices simultaneously - for example, splitting the topside signal to both a diver hat receiver and a video system.
