Located in deep‑sea waters off Yangjiang, Guangdong, the submarine cable transmits large‑scale clean wind power from offshore wind farms to onshore grids. For far‑offshore sites, traditional AC submarine cables suffer heavy power loss. The ±500kV DC submarine cable enables efficient long‑distance wind power delivery.
