To specify the correct underwater connector, provide the following parameters:

  1. Depth rating: What is the maximum working depth in meters?
  2. Contact count: How many conductors do you need to pass through the connector?
  3. Signal type: Power (specify voltage and current per contact), signal (analog/digital), video (coaxial, Ethernet, or fiber optic), or a combination?
  4. Mating environment: Wet-mate (underwater connection) or dry-mate (topside only)?
  5. Cable OD: What is the cable outer diameter at the connector entry?
  6. Cable jacket material: Polyurethane, neoprene, XLPE, armored?
  7. Temperature range: What are the minimum and maximum operating temperatures?
  8. Industry standard: Must it intermate with SubConn, SeaCon, or Burton/Eaton connectors?
  9. Shell material preference: 316L SS (standard), titanium, PEEK?
  10. Quantity: How many connectors (pairs) are required?

Send your specification to [email protected] and our engineering team will recommend the appropriate connector series and configuration within 24 hours.
